Everyday Math Unit 6: Geometry Lessons

Everyday Math Geometry Activities
Your child will investigate the following 2-D and 3-D geometric properties: line segments, rays, and lines; parallel and intersecting lines, line segments, and rays; angles and turns; triangles and quadrangles; polygons, drawing and measuring angles; symmetry and congruency; and polyhedrons. Your child will also review previous skills such as: addition and subtraction for accuracy and fluency; single-digit multiplication facts for accuracy and fluency; perimeter and area; and place value and decimals.
